The Magician's Nephew Book Project

For my Magician's Nephew book project, I chose to do the soundtrack. For each song, there must be an explination:
Claro de Luna: Absolutely perfect for The Wood Between The Worlds. It is dreamy, calming, and music that makes you want to fall asleep. Played at a MP, It is just quiet enough to not overpower the silence, but shows that this is not a place to be afraid of.
Symphony No. 9: Charn!!!! It is eerie, frightening, and worrisome, and a place that anyone with any sense would want to leave immediately. It's power almost grows, as the tension builds. The crashes here and there could represent the falling buildings.
Crux Fidelis: Traveling from the Wood Between the Worlds to another world, or a world to the Wood Between the Worlds. Although it has words, it is soft and lighthearted. It is warm, and could almost be written to go with the traveling scenes.
Allegretto: The Growing of Narnia. It is perky, happy, and although it is not song-like, Aslan wanted Narnia to be a pleasant place, not a dark, depressing place, like Charn. The positivity is overpowering.
Carol of the Bells: (my personal favorite, if I may say so) ONLY THE FIRST 32 SECONDS!!!!!!!!!
A perfect fit for when Digory's mother was gradually getting better. It is happy, but like the music was improving the mood, or in this case, Ms. Kirke's health.

Overall, The Magician's Nephew by C.S. Lewis was an amazing book, that is recommended to everyone!!!!
I look forward to finishing the series!

The Sea of Monsters

The Sea of Monsters is a 279 page book by Rick Riordan. It is the 2nd book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Percy goes on a journey to rescue his friend, Grover from an evil Cyclops. Originally, Grover goes in search of the golden fleece, because Camp Half-Blood is at risk of being over-run by Titans, and in order to save the camp, they have to find the Golden Fleece and put it on Thalia's Tree. In the end, the fleece is placed, and the camp is saved..... for now...... This book is recommended to anyone interested in Greek Mythology.

Magician's Nephew

The Magician's Nephew is a 202 page book by C.S. Lewis. It is about a boy named Digory and a girl named Polly and the adventures thrown their way. I truly enjoyed reading about a set of magic rings, two antagonists, and lion named Aslan, creator of Narnia. This is most definitely recommended to everyone!!!!!!

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is a 178 page novel written by Stephanie Meyer. It is the story of all of the newborn vampires in Eclipse. It is mainly about Bree Tanner, one of them, who has to keep on her toes at all times. Throughout the entire book, Bree is hiding, fighting, or cowering in her corner behind the couch in fright. She never had the choice whether to be changed or not, and could have lived a perfectly good life if not been for the selfishness of Victoria, the creator of them all. Bree finally meets someone who she can relate to, someone who needs a friend almost as much as her. Then, after a relationship is forged with a not-so-newborn named Diego, it is broken down. Diego goes on a hunt and never comes back. The war between the newborns and the Cullens begin, and Bree is killed. During her short-lived second life, she was extremely adamant to stay alive.

Bree Tanner was extremely adamant to stay alive. Not only did she spend most of her time hiding behind "Freaky Fred," who had the power to repel others, so saved her life in many instances, but also constantly was running away to "hunt," just trying to get away, to save her life. Bree was leaving quite often to go with Diego, her new-found friend, who was the leader/trainer of all the newborns for a long time. Bree Tanner was extremely adamant to stay alive during her short second life.
